Barton Storage & Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service Thursday the 23rd o February, 2006 (02:15PM)
Based in Aylesbury and working from 20 fire stations throughout Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service provides an emergency service to the community, fighting fires and providing fire prevention strategies and protection systems. Additionally, an increasing proportion of their work involves releasing road accident victims trapped in vehicles and dealing with chemical spills.
In the vehicle workshops and equipment stores, which are part of the HQ complex, the need for practical and safe storage systems is crucial. Group manager of transport, Jez Finden chose to use Barton Storage Systems as he was impressed with the quality and variety of the products they provide.
Jez comments: "Barton have supplied us with ideal storage solutions. The wall mounted louvred racking panels is an efficient means of saving space and accessibly accommodates the topstore container bins.
"Our large vehicle tyres are stored on free standing racking, which has proved to be an effectively strong and robust system. We also make use of general storage cabinets, which are extremely secure.
"We've been very happy with Barton Storage and I would confidently recommend their products and storage solutions."
